Johannesvik Camping & Stugby
Near the kayak center with just a short walk or bike ride on the trail between Väjern-Kungshamn you will find this quiet family campsite with a cozy atmosphere. The campsite is nestled between the cliffs in a scenic valley just outside Kungshamn and has everything the family could want on holiday.
The campsite was started by Eijde Carlsson in 1957 and is today run by his son Ingvar and family. Johannesvik has about 350 camping sites & cabins in different sizes. The campsite's own bathing area has both a child friendly beach and beautiful cliffs, a floating jetty, a trampoline and a fixed jetty. In the area you will find the bare granite mountains so typical of the area and the lush valleys.
In the northeastern part is a nature reserve that consists of Klevekilen and its surroundings as well as a wonderful recreation area with exercise tracks in beautiful nature and varied terrain. There is also a rich bird life in the area.
